Amigos! Get ready to experience the taste of victory with a winning combination! Soccer icon Leo Messi and Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio have teamed up to create a burger for the books. The new Messi Burger officially launches on March 9th when Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio will host the Messi Block Party from 5p-8p, and it's free and open to the public. They'll have photo booths, a bar, and of course the new Messi Burger. The block party will be in front of the Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio restaurant on Crockett Street.
I was invited to the influencer VIP tasting this week, and we got Messi with Manny B., GoFroSanAntonio, Ellaequeue, Arelgi, and my brother Joey Caballero. First things first, the bartenders are legit and they are famous for their Hurricanes. If you're ever walking along the River Walk and want to stop and grab a great adult beverage, I'd recommend popping in and asking for the Hurricane. Now for the Messi Burger, it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be (which was nice). The burger stayed intact, the smokey sauce was really good, the egg was perfectly cooked, the meat was fresh and tasty, and the chorizo in the mix was a perfect match for my taste buds.
