This will mark the 18th NEW TOYOTA and 11th year that North Park Toyota of San Antonio rewards deserving Southwest Independent School District students with a brand new car for graduation. SWISD school administrators were surprised when NPTOSA General Manager, Tania Eubanks said she was committed to the program despite the challenging year it has been for everyone. Students must maintain outstanding attendance and grades to qualify, then every year in May North Park Toyota of San Antonio hosts the qualifiers for a celebration and car giveaway ceremony. Jacob Ibarra was the second student to win a car during the ceremony and his sister couldn't hold back her tears after he turned the key and won the 2021 TOYOTA Corolla LE saying, "he deserves the car [...] he never missed school." Jacob will now have a slick new whip to take him back and forth to Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX. Crystal Altamirano from Southwest Legacy also won a new car. She said the first thing she was going to do was go to the drive thru at Chick-fil-a. Congratulations to both students!
We hope this program continues for years to come, and perhaps it will inspire other local San Antonio businesses to create an incentive program to encourage and reward students to stay in school and work hard to maintain good grades. This is a beautiful example of a local business committed to the community they serve. Nearly half of the employees at North Park Toyota of San Antonio attended SWISD schools, and they take great pride in being able to be a part of such a rewarding program. Congratulations to Tania Eubanks and her entire team at North Park Toyota of San Antonio for positively impacting the lives of students in San Antonio!
