A trip to the museum just got more interactive with San Antonio's first selfie museum, The Selfie Box! Cesar Ramos and Michael Reyes launched the Southside attraction in February this year, and so far it has been a success. Cesar quit his job in the banking industry to take a leap of faith and launch a business. Congratulations to both of this guys for creating something fun and exciting for San Antonians. While this type of experience first surfaced in New York City around 2015 with 29Rooms, this was a first for San Antonio. The Selfie Box is located at 1602 S.W. Military Drive, about 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio. If your idea of a trip to the museum involves taking selfies and getting likes and comments because your post is the coolest one on your friend's feed, then this place is definitely for you! It's a low-cost and fun way to have fun with the family this summer. No need to pay for parking, tickets are about what you'd spend at the movies, and the images you'll create will last a lifetime!
If your social media feed is looking a little dull and needs a boost of vibrant, creative, and eye-popping backdrops please take a moment and support local entrepreneurs! Check out my latest episode of SATX Life here and get to know the owner and get a sneak peek inside The Selfie Box!
