After performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Jaiman and I walked into his trailer and talked about music and life. We discussed his struggle, his recent success, and his dreams. In the interview below I asked him about soul trap, his influences, and where he feels Latino music is headed.
Jaiman started working on his craft when he was 17, and when he was 20 doors started to open for him. Born in NYC, and raised by his grandmother in Puerto Rico, he is focused on creating his own brand while respecting the talent and music that has paved the way for his generation.
