Here we go again, Texas. Another mysterious animal has been captured by security cameras at a Texas state park and nobody knows what it is or where it came from.
Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park is calling all of its social media followers to help identify an elusive creature caught lurking in the Rio Grande Valley. "Is it a new species? An escapee from a nearby zoo? Or just a park ranger in disguise? Regardless, it's thrilling to see such an incredible animal in its natural habitat," the park wrote on Facebook alongside security camera footage of the animal.
Users in the comments were taken back to last summer when the City of Amarillo and the Amarillo Zoo requested the public's help in identifying a "chupacabra" that was found outside the zoo's fence. People gave it their best shot to guess what this animal found in the RGV could be and answers ranged from badgers and hippos to hogs and bears. Some also believe it could be a capybara, otter, jaguarundi, nutria, wolverine, fisher or marten.
Take a look at the photo below and guess what it could be for yourself!
