With Valentine’s Day around the corner, there are good news for single people here in Texas. According to a study by WalletHub, Texas is the second-best state in the nation for single people.
WalletHub compared all 50 states across 27 key indicators of dating-friendliness.The ranking factors included the percentage of single adults, the gender ratio, online dating opportunities, drink prices, restaurants per capita, affordability, online dating safety and how few Covid restrictions they have. The Lone Star State has gotten better when it comes to welcoming singles, as the state moved up the ranks from last year. Texas also ranked high in the following study categories:
- 1st for movie theaters per capita
- 1st for restaurants per capita
- 9th for Median annual household income (Adjusted for cost of living)
- 13th for Mobile-dating opportunities
