Maluma just celebrated his 27th birthday yesterday and announced some major news on Instagram Live. Papi Juancho shared he was dropping a new album, titled #7DJ - 7 Days in Jamaica. The mini-album was recorded during what was apparently intended as a restorative retreat to Jamaica, it contains 7 songs and 7 music videos that were filmed in the reggae country.
“This is a very special project for me. I have been working on it for a very long time,” said Maluma. The Colombian superstar went to Jamaica and worked with different artists and producers to work on his album Papi Juancho. Such album was suppose to be released first in August, but couldn’t film the videos to the album due to COVID-19. Maluma shared the official video for 7 Days in Jamaica on his YouTube Channel Thursday.
Prior to the album release, Maluma teased his album in a very unique way with his fans, many speculating that he was going to be a dad after posting snaps of him kissing a woman's stomach. On the Instagram Live, Papi Juancho finally clarified the rumor by saying “Yes I‘m going to be a dad, it’s my fifth kid. Because we have another album coming out!."
