Colombian super star, Shakira, has once again shown her great heart when it comes to contributing to charitable activities. Beyond her Pies Descalzos foundation, which has changed the lives of many children in Colombia, we have seen the artist participate in different social causes. Shakira has put aside her perfume production to help create hand sanitizers and she’s recently been a part of Global Citizen virtual concerts, to help raise money for the people affected by COVID-19.
Well yesterday, Shakira announced she was putting up for bid her custom-made gold jacket that she wore during the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show. Shakira donated the jacket to the “All In Challenge” digital fundraiser. They are one of the largest digital fundraiser ever to help battle food insecurity brought on or exacerbated by COVID-19. Its mission statement encourages some of the wealthiest people in the United States to provide relief to the impact of COVID-19: “challenging everyone athlete, sports owner, team, league, celebrity and artist to go ALL IN.”
To take this prize to the next level, besides getting the jacket, Shakira will meet you at an upcoming show and present the jacket to you in person an experience what may be a fan's dream come true. 100% of the money raised through the auction will go directly to Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.
The starting bid is five thousand dollars and will end in 9 days. Click here to see the bidding page and if you have five thousand dollars laying around then go ahead and bid!
