The collaborations between J Balvin and SpongeBob SquarePants started last year. On the 20th anniversary, J Balvin released different co-branded items with SpongeBob that featured art, apparel, and home goods. Later in the year, other items were included like shoes, sweaters, skateboard items and even teeth grillz inspired by J Balvin.
Yesterday J Balvin posted on his social media accounts what can be his next new song and project with the new SpongeBob SquarePants movie. The movie was originally scheduled to premier in theaters on February, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie was rescheduled again to August.
Reggeaton is coming to Bikini Bottom and this new song appears to be titled ‘Agua’ featuring the Puerto Rican, Tainy. The song will be premiering this Thursday, July 9th at 5PM!
