San Antonio presents the Biggest DAY OF THE DEAD Celebration in the Nation

Start making plans and join in on the biggest DAY OF THE DEAD Celebration in the Nation, and yup it’s happening here in the Alamo City! With more than 20 original events during October and November, including showcasing the culture behind “El Dia de los Muertos” … this is a party you do not want to miss!

Expect an invasion of traditions, alters, costumes, food, live music, and it’s all happening through downtown San Antonio October 26 and 27 at the 7th Annual Dead de los Muertos (Hemisfair.) On November 1st, witness the beautiful river parade “Catrineras on the River” for the whole family, featuring La Danza de las Mojigangas in the Arneson River Theatre and Day of Dead Dancers, mariachis, and puppet figures!

On November 2-3 celebrate festivities during Day of the Dead San Antonio in La Villita Historic Art Village with more activities and shops for the whole family. The Celebration will be spread across the city on Houston St downtown, The River Walk, The Wittie Museum and more!
