It’s been a year now since the release of 13 Reasons Why season two, and today Netflix has released the first trailer of season three. This new season has a new plot twist and the phrase “Who killed Bryce Walker?” who was the villain in the first two seasons.
“Eight months after preventing Tyler from committing an unthinkable act at Spring Fling, Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach find ways to shoulder the burden of the cover-up together while helping Tyler move toward recovery. But when the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it’s up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone’s deepest secrets. The stakes are raised in this riveting third season of 13 Reasons Why, as the consequences of even the most well-intended actions can alter a life forever.”
Hanna Baker played by Katherine Langford was the man character in seasons one and two, but will not be featured in this new season. The third season will include new characters like Ani played by Grace Saif, who is shown in the teaser and is said to play an important role in the series.
13 Reasons Why is also renewed for a fourth season that is currently in production. It will feature the final days before graduating from Liberty High; this will also be the final season of 13 Reasons Why.
Catch the third season of 13 Reasons Why this August 23rd on Netflix.
