The iconic Spanish singer Rosalia is well known for her music but as well her fierce and passionate personality. Now M.A.C. Cosmetics has officially named Rosalia as their newest Viva Glam Ambassador to create a new limited edition orangey-red matte lipstick color that celebrates the 26th anniversary of Viva Glam.
This new collaboration will also be used to raise awareness and supports the future and equal rights of women, girls, the LGBTQ+ community, and those affected with HIV/AIDS.Since its inception in 1994, Viva Glam has given back to the community, and has raised over $500 million globally. This year, it has pledged 10 million dollars to 250 organizations to support Black and Latinx communities that have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Red is my favorite color, it always reminds me of flamenco” said Rosalia in a recent interview with Vouge Magazine. She also recalls how her flamenco icons to have masculine look with a bold red lip, reason that inspired her own sense of style and beauty.
