The event will feature an Expo, music, drinks, snacks and entertainment for the whole family!
Baby Buggy Walk is a FREE Walk to bring awareness to infant mortality and pregnancy loss and is an event that is held nationally each year. Walkers will enjoy 1 mile walk around the pond – strollers are welcome!
The Safe Sleep 5K Run, formerly Rex’s Run, is in memory of Rex Neal Van de Putte who died when he was 5 months old of Sudden Death Syndrome (SIDS). His family has held Rex’s Run for the past 5 years to raise funds that go to the Southwest SIDS Research Institute whose mission is to end unexpected infant mortality through education, support, medical services and research. Participants will enjoy a 5k Run or Walk around Miller’s Park Pond and there will be awards for age group winners and prizes for the Top Fundraising Team and Individual!
