Kendrick Castillo was less than a week away from his graduation. He had everything to live for, his entire life was before him, yet he sacrificed everything to save his fellow classmates. Kendrick's courage and selflessness is inspiring, losing him is absolutely heartbreaking. I write this with a heavy heart, and the hope that his final act, being of service to others, will inspire all of us.
Kendrick Castillo was the only student who lost his life at the STEM School shooting in Highlands Ranch, Colorado yesterday.
